Abstract

the purpose of the current research was to investigate the effect of moral leadership of school principals in sharing knowledge of physical education teachers based on the mediating role of psychological ownership.

Methodology: This research was descriptive-survey type. The statistical population included all physical education teachers of Golestan province, among whom 247 people were selected by purposive sampling. The research tools were Brown et al.'s Ethical Leadership Questionnaire (2005), Avi et al.'s Psychological Ownership Questionnaire (2008), and Park and Lee's Knowledge Sharing Questionnaire (2013), whose internal reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha method in a pilot study in a statistical population. (α<0.81). In order to analyze the data, PLS-3 software was used (P≥0.05).

Results: The results of the path analysis of the research model showed that ethical management has a direct and significant effect on the knowledge sharing of physical education teachers. Also, the structure of psychological ownership moderated the ability to share knowledge by physical education teachers.

Conclusion: Therefore, it is suggested to the policy makers of the country's education system that by employing managers who are committed to ethical characteristics, in addition to providing the necessary platform for teachers to increase their knowledge through the acquisition and sharing of knowledge, they can empower Psychological human resources to provide a voluntary interactive environment in order to optimize educational programs and student success.
